NYLA SSL SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility
1. Applicant must have been a SLMSSENY member for 2 years, and in current standing.
2. Applicant must be a current member of NYLA-SSL.
3. Applicant must be currently working in a School Library, either full-time or part-time.
4. Priority will be given to applicants who have never attended a NYLA-SSL conference.
5. Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously won this scholarship.

Review and Selection Process
Each application will be evaluated by a blind selection process done through a set committee of Executive Board Members.
Terms of Acceptance
Scholarship Award up $500 (Cost of NYLA-SSL registration and accommodations)
*This is a reimbursement scholarship - please send your receipt to treasurer@slmsseny.org at the completion of the conference.
Winner must be able to attend the conference in its entirety
Award Winner Announced April 1, 2024
Winner must attend and share his/her conference experience at the Rip Van Winkle Award dinner on Thursday, May 30th at Woods Tavern Bar and Grill in Ossining, NY.
