Teri Richardson, Library Media Specialist at Washingtonville High School, has created a unique opportunity for peer collaboration! Richardson has started a Peer Tutoring Pilot. The premise is to connect students who have a grade of 90 or above with students who need academic assistance. Students interested in being tutors will apply and go through a teacher recommendation process. Students needing assistance will be referred to the library to set up tutoring sessions. The tutoring sessions will be scheduled by Richardson and will take place during study hall and after school.
