NYSED Seeks Volunteers for Educational Technology Advisory Committee

Great opportunity to offer feedback on technology issues! Membership Opportunity: Educational Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC)

NYSED’s Office of Educational Design and Technology is forming a volunteer advisory group, the Educational Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC).

The committee will meet monthly for approximately 1 hour each month, in the late afternoon. A teleconference option will be available for those members who live at a distance.

Our goal is to obtain feedback and advice from the educational community regarding such matters as:

• Technology Planning

• BYOD and 1:1 initiatives

• Computer-based Testing

• Technology-related funding sources

• Professional Development

• Online and Blended learning

• The role of School Librarians in educational technology

• Technology Literacy Standards

• Educational technology-related statewide policy

P-20 educators, administrators, educational leaders, and members of educational organizations with an interest in Educational Technology are encouraged to apply.
