Our own local Library Media Specialist and Treasurer, Sheri McNair, is presenting this weekend at the 36th Annual NYS TESOL Winter Conference in Albany. She is presenting with two co-workers, Christine Susskind, ESL Teacher and Bridget Smith, HS English Teacher, on Empowering ELLs through Community Engagement: "Reading Buddies." Reading Buddies is a literacy program that pairs 80 high school volunteers 1:1 with children in grades 1 & 2 in the Highland Falls/Fort Montgomery CSD.
